PERFORMANCE PIECE 'TRY ME ON'

I bought this pair of antique male shoes in 1986 in Vienna at a flee-market. I bought also a little revolver, filled with gas and noise cartridges. I took the shoes to a shoemaker and repaired them. I shined them, put them on , got on my bike , put the revolver in my pocket and listened to James Bond music on my headphones, riding through the dark viennese nights. I did that for a while until I got tired of wearing them, because they were male shoes and they were too big for me.

Years later I moved to New York, I started to look for the right person to give them to.

Then I developed my prince charming performance. I thought who ever will fit in these shoes will be my next lover. Up to this day a lot of my friends tried on these shoes, but they fit nobody. I will now give them to the SONS as a performance piece to be continued.

I WANT THEM DISPLAYED IN SUCH A MANNER, SO ANYBODY CAN TRY THEM ON .

I WANT THIS LETTER POSTED NEXT TO THEM, SO ANYBODY CAN READ IT.

I WANT THE FIRST PERSON WHO FITS INTO THESE SHOES PERFECTLY TO TAKE THEM.

I WANT THIS PERSON TO CONTACT ME VIA THE MUSEUM IN A DISCREET WAY.

I WANT TO TALK TO THIS PERSON.
